When I started it up I did so with no internet connected as I thought this would literally work offline. Since there's no network, it failed when attempting to correct the version. Pressing Confirm or Cancel would only make it try again. After connecting internet again and pressing Confirm it tried again and downloaded resources. After downloading resources, the game loaded. I don't know if I was just lucky or if first initializing it when completely offline is what made a difference.
There's definitely a lot of errors and a lot of missing overworld content though and I can't tell if Downloading Resources may have broken anything further or if it was already broken.
